I had a great experience with my LASIK procedure here. I was recommended this place by a friend who got their procedure done at Dello Russo. You can do the procedure the same day if you qualify during the consultation. The procedure took only five minutes and it wasn’t painful, just a bit... uncomfortable. It’s a life changing procedure so some discomfort for a very short period of time is so worth it. I was given a Xanax an hour before but still freaked out right before and during the procedure. Take a lot of deep breaths! I do have a lot of anxiety so if you’re like me, you may want to ask for two Xanax. The staff were very lovely and understanding even though I was panicking. They played a song I liked at my request and that helped tremendously. I opted to wait until I could take a week off to recover, which I highly recommend. Your eyes will be sensitive and dry for a bit. I will say there can be a wait time if they’re super busy but not a huge deal. Everyone wants 20/20 vision, right?read more

Not only was my procedure successful, but I met the friendliest people. Shout out to Aliz, Tatiana, Yessica, Ricardo, Dr Dello Russo, Erica and ... Dr.Siegal (from the Brooklyn office) for making the whole experience beyond exceptional.My consultation was Saturday, and decided to go through with it. I didn't have any pain throughout the whole process, nor did I have any issues sleeping through the night. Any of the things/side effects I was worried about didn't happen. I love the eye dr who read the glasses IAm wearing. In three lenses changed. I was done .The first pair of gloves I saw were round and the second pairs is black and dark purple.. after waiting to hear from them. I went back and she booked my appointment. The next day was Christmas Day.It was... myself and at that time I can’t stand to be around him. But he is not at fault that the drs staff are stupid.You can’t fix stupid. At first, I heard the ad on the radio I was skeptic to see if anybody could help so I went to the Woodbridge New Jersey location to get my eye exam done. They recommended I go to the Bergenfield location for a consultation. Once in that location I received phenomenal phenomenal service, Jane and... Yenny were nothing short of spectacular from the beginning to the ending. The process was seamless from going through insurance to answering all of my questions and scheduling the surgery and the follow up. Not many times can I say things went flawless but this certainly did. No longer am a skeptic, and I’m amazed at the results. Dr Heimmel is a man of few words but his work was amazing and I would recommend him to anyone. And my follow up with the optometrist was amazing. Let’s say 6 stars not 5.The colors I am able to see are so bright :). Ps. I am 50 and did cataract surgery and it’s so far life changing.Thank You for being amazing to this practice.read more

He is the Dr that did my consultation, who also did my moms a few years back. He remembered her. He is so kind and the most genuine Dr you will ever meet. After my... surgery I promise I had Dr.Ahmed on speed dial! Every single one of my calls got answered no matter the time or day. He could tell you how many times I called him the first week of my surgery 😅. And he always showed genuine concern and wanted my eyes to heal properly. & was at my side to help Every-time I needed. The most selfless unimaginable thing he ever did for me was drive after working in New Jersey all the way to Long Island ONLY to change my contact. I got my surgery 4 and half years ago, I had an awesome quick recovery and experience. I was seeing perfect immediately after, and I held off for the review until a few years after my surgery. I can happily say I still see perfectly, just recently stopped into the office for a check up, I’m close... to the 5 year mark and my eyes are perfect. I do have a little sensitivity to sunlight and my eyes do get dry from staring at the computer too long, but nothing sunglasses and eye drops can’t fix. I fully recommend Dr. Dello Russo!read more

I went in for my consultation in July, turns out I was a perfect candidate for surgery. They offered to administer surgery the SAME day! As much as I wanted to I am a very nervous person & remembered I had a tropical vacation coming up in Sept….I wanted to make sure I had enough time to heal before... being exposed to sea water, pools and sun. Amed assisted me since day one, we were able to lock in a price and appointment date. A week before surgery date I rescheduled again because I was nervous. I had a really bad Astigmatism in my left eye and a pretty bad one in my right. I went there for a consultation and they ended up doing the procedure that day. They put contacts on your eyes after LASIK that have to be removed after a few days. I couldn't make it there the following Monday so... Ahmed met me at the office on Saturday when they were closed. He opened up shop and took them out for me. Big thank you to Ahmed for going out of his way to help me out. If you're on the fence about geting this done in general do yourself a favor you'll be glad you did. It doesn't hurt and the recovery is nothing. When you decide to have it done have it done here because they're good at it.read more

I had lasik as a condition of employment. Everyone was very helpful and reassuring. Tatyana answered all 40 of my calls after surgery haha. The only thing i would recommend is definitely have a driver take you home. When those numbers eye drops wear off, it can be painful. It was a experience starting from the initial consultation. The surgery was rather quickly that I hadn't even realized one eye was done! They took great care of me. This was a great experience. After waiting 20 years for this treatment, I'm static. The employees are wonderful and convey their enthusiasm for you. I got LASIK done about 1 month and a half ago. The staff here is extremely nice and courteous. Ahmed was my lasik counselor and he is very helpful. I was able to contact him directly if I had any questions. I'm seeing 20/20 now and super happy that I no longer have to wear contacts or glasses. What... a relief!! Also, Dr. Dello Russo is very professional and informative. He answers all your questions and sees you with no hesitation. Waiting time in the office is only a couple of minutes which is amazing. I have been wearing contacts for approximately 20 something years. After having Lasik I am still trying to figure out why I had waited so long. The staff were amazing, Dr. Dello Russo is the best. In just under 10 minutes I was done...no pain, no discomfort...no problem.
