Dr. Jeffrey Dello Russo
Dr. Jeffrey Dello Russo has extensive surgical experience using state-of-the-art LASIK eye surgery techniques and technology. Working alongside his esteemed father Dr. Joseph Dello Russo, Dr. Jeffrey Dello Russo has been active in both the creation and implementation of new LASIK surgical procedures. With his work and leadership, he carries on the Dello Russo tradition of excellence in LASIK surgery.
History of Excellence
After graduating from Tufts University in 1992, Dr. Jeffrey Dello Russo went on to receive a medical degree from the New York Medical College. His ophthalmology training was completed at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center. He then received further training in refractive procedures at the New Jersey Eye Center under the guidance of his renowned father, Dr. Joseph Dello Russo.
From there, Dr. Jeffrey Dello Russo joined his father at Dello Russo Laser Vision, where he has been a part of modern LASIK developments from the beginning. Honing his skills under expert guidance, Dr. Jeffrey Dello Russo looks back on a lifetime learning about ophthalmology from World Class LASIK surgeons with fondness. Now, he uses that history and experience to provide excellent care and vision correction results for his patients.
Experienced and Innovative Surgeon
Because Dr. Jeffrey Dello Russo was able to start his career beside his father, a pioneer in the field, he has been a part of LASIK advancements from the beginning. His office took the lead during a study of a new dry eye treatment drop made by the Daiichi Pharmaceutical Company. Further, he is proud to have been instrumental in helping to pioneer new LASIK surgical procedures, including bladeless laser surgery in 2002. Dr. Jeffrey Dello Russo was also the very first LASIK eye surgeon to perform the operation in the greater New York region.
Together with his father, Dr. Jeffrey Dello Russo developed many of the current treatment protocols and standards for LASIK and PRK. In addition, he works beside his brother, Dr. James Dello Russo, an optometrist, at the New Jersey Dello Russo location. In line with his father’s and brother’s commitment to their work, Dr. Jeffrey Dello Russo is dedicated to staying on the cutting-edge of ophthalmologic techniques and technology for the benefit of his patients.
