Dr. James Dello Russo was educated at Lehigh University and later completed his Optometry training at the New England College of Optometry. He undertook his fellowship at the New Jersey Eye Center and has been looking after our clients and patients ever since. Dr. James Dello Russo believes it’s critical to get to know his patients and their concerns. It is this personalized approach, combined with his many years of experience as an optometrist, that allow him to provide the best care possible.

For the Dello Russo family, LASIK surgery and eye care are a family passion. Dr. James Dello Russo is the son of Dr. Joseph Dello Russo, a pioneer in the ophthalmology field and one in the small group of doctors who helped make LASIK eye surgery what it is today. As one of the top experts in LASIK and laser eye surgery, Dr. Joseph Dello Russo clearly passed his dedication on to his two sons. Dr. Jeffrey Dello Russo is a renowned expert in LASIK and has long worked alongside his father and brother developing LASIK procedure techniques and protocols.
While both Dr. Jeffrey spends the majority of their time seeing patients at various Dello Russo Laser Vision locations, Dr. James Dello Russo works primarily out of the New Jersey office. This way, he can see patients within the Dello Russo Laser Vision office as well as at our partner business, the New Jersey Eye Center, where he is the Managing Director.
